Mounjaro 5mg Solution for Injection is used once weekly to help adults with type 2 diabetes improve blood sugar control, and also supports weight loss in overweight or obese individuals. It works by increasing insulin sensitivity and reducing appetite.

The injection is given under the skin (abdomen, thigh, or upper arm), rotating sites each time. Always follow your doctor’s instructions on dosage, timing, and storage. Keep it refrigerated (2°C–8°C) and do not freeze.

Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and indigestion—usually mild and temporary.

Do not use if you or your family have a history of thyroid cancer (medullary carcinoma) or MEN2 syndrome. It is also not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice.
